Join the Lunch Club
For a £15 a year, members can join our weekly Lunch Club. This gives you access to lunches at The Newton Bar on Wednesdays from 12.30pm.
Our lunches are a great way to make friends and keep up with what’s happening on the island. Everyone has fun as well as a delicious lunch (thanks to Lesley and her team). There are occasional talks to look forward to as well. We generally have fifty regular attendees and the number is growing.
Lunches run from September until June, with bigger celebrations at Halloween and Christmas. We take a break in the summer and we have given members vouchers to make their way to The Newton Bar independently with their friends.
For those who need help to get to the Lunch Club, Millport Taxis offers a reduced fare.
You can click here to download the application form or pop into The Cumbrae Forum Charity shop to pick one up.
