Who we are
As a charity we support, connect and care for the people of Cumbrae. Our small group of volunteers is committed to making life on the island the best it can be for everyone. We run The Forum Charity Shop, organise the Lunch Club and events, fund other groups’ work and much more.

Our governance

We are a charity regulated by OSCR. Charity Number SC 045080.
We are staffed by a fantastic group of volunteers.
Our AGM is in October.

Meet the Board
Our Board of Trustees are volunteers who manage the day-to-day organisation of the Cumbrae Forum.
Eleanor Browne
Chair | J. 2014
Eleanor has been Chair of the Forum for a few years now. She has a long-term connection with the island and enjoys walks with her labrador. She is involved in several island groups.
Lorraine Fraser

Lorraine is a third generation Millportonian who enjoys being involved in community life on the island.
Fiona Ogunro
Board Member | J. 2024
Fiona moved to the island with her husband seven years ago. She is assionate about her community and particularly enjoys supporting children and families.
Elaine McArthur
Treasurer | J. 2023
Elaine enjoys working to help the community. As a retired Business and IT teacher, she volunteered her skills to develop an online membership database.
Lizzy McDavid
Board Member | J. 2024
Elizabeth comes from a long line of locals. She has a young family and is a member of the Cumbrae Parent Council. Elizabeth volunteered with the Forum to build relationships with the local school and children's group.
